Bomb blast in Damaturu

bomb blast occurred Tuesday in Damaturu Yobe state capital which claimed the lives of six people leaving forty-two others fatally injured.

The first explosion occurred at the Central Motor Park while the second one was set off along the Gashua-Maiduguri bypass in Damaturu.

The first explosion, which was executed by a female bomber, occurred at about 7:30am.  She exploded very close to a vehicle at the central Motor Park, claiming the lives of five people including herself. Toyin Gbadegesin ,spokesman for
the police in the state said after confirming the explosion.
