Police in Los Angeles executed a search warrant at the home of rock star/reality TV star/businessman Gene Simmons on Thursday. A fire at a  residential  complex in Saudi Arabia has left 11 people dead and injured at least 200 others, Saudi     officials say. They said multiple nationalities were among the injured - some  critically. The fire broke out at  a site  used to house workers for the oil giant Saudi Aramco in the eastern city of Khobar. The cause is unknown. Some people were reportedly trapped on rooftops as helicopters battled to control the blaze. Like many companies in Saudi Arabia, Aramco uses large numbers of migrant workers. Saudi's civil defence ministry tweeted: "Cars and furniture caught fire in the basement of one of  the towers,  heavy  smoke    billowed, obstructing rescue and firefighting operations." Aramco     says    it   has begun  an  investigation   into the cause.

Facebook says it will give video creators and publishers a way to remove copyrighted videos that have been uploaded to its popular social network without the proper permission. The company has come under fire from video creators, like YouTube star Hank Green, for allowing users to embed and post videos on the site, even if the content doesn’t belong to them. Justice Audu Bako, a member of the panel hearing  petition seeking to annul the election victory of  Governor Ibrahim Gaidam of Yobe State, is dead it learnt that Justice Bako died around 2p.m. yesterday at Primus Hospital, Karu, a suburb in. The first explosion occurred at the Central Motor Park while the second one was set off along the Gashua-Maiduguri bypass in Damaturu. An Ekiti based businessman, Muyiwa Owolabi, on Tuesday urged an Ado Ekiti Customary Court to dissolve his 10-year-old marriage to wife, Tinuola Owolabi over claims that she sleeps with men shemeets on social media. Justice Mohammed Yunusa of the Federal High Court sitting in Lagos has ordered the remand of a blogger, Seun Oloketuyi, in prison over alleged malicious publication against the Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of Fidelity Bank Plc, Nnamdi Okonkwo. The accused was remanded in Ikoyi prison after he was arraigned on two count charge by the Special Fraud Unit (SFU) of the Nigerian Police. The report was published sometime in June 2015. Oloketuyi,was alleged to have published a news report on his blog, www.naijahottestgist.com, where he alleged that Okonkwo had a love relationship with a married lady in the marketing department of the bank. In the report, Oloketuyi had further alleged that the extra-marital affair between Okonkwo and the said lady simply identified as Justina, resulted in the birth of a baby, and that the affair also destroyed the marriage of the said Justina. He further alleged that Okonkwo had since sent the affected lady abroad to further her studies.
