Wow! Annie Idibia launches empowerment foundation

Nollywood actress, Annie Idibia, has launched a foundation called Annie Idibia Care Foundation.

Her latest non-profit making venture is geared towards women and youth empowerment. According to her statement shared on her Instagram page

"Annie Idibia Care Foundation is a NOT FOR PROFIT organization founded and supervised by Mrs Annie M. Idibia with a focus to share and exchange empowering intelligence, knowledge, ideas and provide support to African women and youths, through an engaging world class vocational training concepts, funding educational bills and providing healthcare support.

We are on a mission to honour and empower a better world through kindness, innovations, & to create initiatives that educates, informs and inspires women & youths across Africa.

We are most willing to work with interested personalities, celebrities and other international Not For Profit Institutions to reach a world unheard.

A while ago, Omoniyi Temidayo Raphael, known professionally as Zlatan, a Nigerian singer, songwriter and dancer made a tweet on his kind of girlfriend and hell was let loose. The young controversial artiste had squealed that he prefers dating young girls that he can control . “I prefer girls that still stay under their parents roof than the ones that are independent….     to control those ones Dey hard like bike wey the gear get fault.” Well, obviously this didn’t go down well with some of his colleagues and other Nigerians who felt his tweet was too childish and indicating he only wants a girl he can control.  “Pele o controller general! Are you looking for a slave or a partner”, wrote Lola Okoye, who happens to be the wife of Peter Okoye (Psquare fame).

John stone- Chelsea Target transfer request

Everton's John Stones has handed in a transfer request following Chelsea's repeated attempts to buy the defender The Premier League champions have had bids of £20m and £26m rejected for the 21-year-old England international, with a further £30m attempt also reported. Everton manager Roberto Martinez has repeatedly said Stones will not be sold this summer and the club have not responded to the latest development. The centre-back moved from Barnsley to Everton in February 2013 for about £3m. Chelsea boss Jose Mourinho, who substituted John Terry during their 3-0 loss at Manchester City and saw his skipper sent off against West Brom last Sunday, wants to strengthen in central defence. Stones is expected to be in the England squad for next month's Euro 2016 qualifiers against San Marino and Switzerland when it is named on Sunday evening. Chelsea's first game following the international break is a trip to Goodison Park on 12 September.
